Resident Evil 2 Speedrun Leon A Rookie "58:42" Part 6/6

The last part here.

The naked zombies before the end fight didn't cooperate at all. The first wasn't on the very right side so I would not have made it past him without a bite. I was so nervous that I just played on the safe side and shot them both.
Better to be safe than sorry I guess. You can't ask for everything.

The Birkin fight is really random and I have actually been killed once before due to severe bad luck.
My strategy is kind of unreliable looking but it works out surprisingly alot. He almost always jumps down at the opposite corner. We just need him to stay down long enough or charge at us in order to kill him this quickly. The other way is if he jumps back up to the same corner as us. This is slower because we must wait for him to jump down and on rare occasions he can land "on" us and mouth grab us afterwards(basically a disaster). If I killed him at 4:05+ then I classed it as a fast fight . A few times in practice I finished the fight at 4:13 but this requires insane luck of course.

so it's you who has beaten my Rookie Mode for 1 minute and 10 seconds :D. Congrats!! I recognized that we used same strat to kill the bosses. All in all there are only small differences like you killed the lickers in lab or I took a health spray which I didn't have to use... But your last birkin fight strat is much better than mine, I was so nervous and waited to long (bad mistake)... Great stuff, Derek !!

WOW I can't believe it's all finally done and over, that was such a GREAT run to watch and the final birkin was just so awesome I couldn't believe it. Also I LOVED thinking what was going through your mind as you were running to the ending after just beating birkin knowing it was all over :)

Great job and I can't believe with almost no one supporting you, dealing with such crap luck, and countless attempts you still managed to pull it off in the end.
