COD World At War Gunslinger Trophy Achievement

EDIT: The truck you shoot with the sniper rifle is the one you want to blow up with the pistol.

As I was trying to say near the end of the video, I had no idea how I first did this. All I knew was that I blew up the truck with the pistol by accident and it somehow killed Amsel. I figured out it was from my previous sniper bullets that weakened it. NOTE: if you do this with the PTRS-41 sniper rifle, it is twice as powerful and only takes 2 sniper shots to weaken it. That is the gun I originally did it with.

ATTENTION: Any fanboy comments about Playstation 3 or Xbox360 will be deleted. Its long overdo BS. I have both systems and dont care about your gripes.

EDIT#2 - This technique to getting the achievement/trophy is actually harder than just sniping Amsel's driver then shooting Amsel with the pistol as he runs. So if this technique doesnt work you WILL get it the "normal" way. I posted this because it was a unique way I accidentally figured out and it DOES work. As you can see here for anyone that says it doesnt. I've done it several times, and had to do it on this different account for the Youtube video.

ALSO! The easiest way to kill him with the pistol is this...
Play the level on Normal!!! Snipe Amsel's foot while he is behind the truck to weaken him. DO NOT use the PTRS for this. One more pistol shot should kill him and you have many opportunities after killing the getaway driver.

@1995baseballkid Try killing him the old fashion way, sniping his driver then using the pistol to pick him off as he runs. its actually much easier than this and much easier than it seems.

Yea on veteran I shot the truck 7 times with the sniper and on my 2nd clip of the pistol I actually hit the general. So you've got to be playing on recruit or regular for that truck to blow up that easy.

Do it on veteran!!! Get past the sniper and shoot the general with the pistol. Then call yourself a badass, ME personally.... A badass :)

it doesn't work for me :(. tried many times. When i shoot truck it explodes on either 3.4.5th hit with sniper. the 3rd hit when it went bang drove me bonkers. its led me to guess that certain parts of truck are weaker than others. The pistol also proved useless too, the guy pretty much legs it. im not that good on FPS games, even when the settings are harder. im out of option to what i can do. :(
