is this the pile of shit that the Audi boss said will be driven by idiots? America should close it's whole car industry. Not one US built car is even average compared to German and Japanese and European cars. Only Chinese and maybe Russian cars are as badly made and designed as American cars

yeah, the volt...why did the ev1 die? this is another red herring doomed to fail...the ev1 was only available as a rental...it was rounded up and scrapped. lets see a non oil car suceed against the special interests...its not the technology...its the oil companies that are the problem! get rid of those goddamn oil lobbyists...why else would this decades old technology not take off?i smell a rat!

This system is very similar to serial hybrids like the Honda Insight.
Should have kept the EV1, they would have been market leaders by now instead of a nearly bankrupt company.
Too little too late with the Volt.
