Thanks for all your positive comments. Yes, it is a nice place to view, although not sure if I'd want to live there full time. Most people that grew up there cannot wait to get off the Island.

Luv this video. I live on Oahu & been to these places so it reminds me to be grateful. I don't appreciate the negative comments from other locals. They have ever been outside of Hawaii so they don't understand what we're blessed with. Great weather, surrounded by gorgeous ocean views, rainbows, nice ppl. Oahu is town AND country. Bet they don't complain about being able to still go out and do stuff after 9pm unlike the other islands. They should go move somewhere else if they don't like it here.

oahu is the best place to live in the worllddd!!! i visited once. gonna move there in two years time! =D oahu is town n country! n the population is slightly less than 1 million i think. i live in singapore n the population is 5 million ppl,slightly less than half the size of oahu. cant waiitt to move to oahu!!

My, my oahu is truley an amazing place. i stayed there for 3 weeks during the summer and it was the most amazing time ive had so far.

yes totally. ok for the winter time...humongous waves on north shore, go to see them but dont get in unless your a good swimmer. go to haunama bay on the south side for great snorkelling in the winter, not terribly expensive to rent snorkel gear or park. waikiki beach is calm too but crowded, i would recommend kaimana by kapiolani park, ask for directions its in waiks. tons of good waterfalls and hikes, ask for directions for nuuanu trail, manoa falls, and waimea audobon center on north shore.

What are some places on Oahu that you would recommend to go to? I'm going there on the 18th and I'll be there for about 7 days. Do you know any really good places to hike and see waterfalls? Also, what do you think is the best place to snorkel in the winter? I know there are a lot more waves, but I'm sure there are some calm spots right? Any advice on places to go would be so helpful :-)
