General Hospital 1985 Asian Quarter Part 175

Part 175. Yank gets a message to meet his grandfather at the tv station. Robert still can't get in touch with the medical van. As Anna and Robin embrace each other, Wu's men come out of the shadows and take Robin and the Ancient One. Anna is knocked out. Wu takes a tour of the television station to strengthen his alibi. Kim joins him there for the meeting with Derek. Kim's anxious to exact revenge on the people who put him in jail. It's actually quite interesting listening to Wu tell Kim about his strategy and his reluctance to avenge Kim's jailing. Wu's a thinker and it's obvious that Kim isn't. Wu is evil but he's not evil without a purpose ... if that makes sense. While Olin tries to tell Robert about the pearls, Anna calls Robert and tearfully tells him that Wu's men have taken Robin and the Ancient One. As she almost passes out in Buzz's arm, she faintly sees colourful costumes. Those costumed people enter the Bamboo Bar. Wu's men stash Robin and the Ancient One in a sound proof room (So it is...)

Note: I love it when Olin calls Robert "number one" then "dad". The expression on Robert's face is great.

Great mother and daughter reunion, too bad it was short lived. Knocking her out was uncalled for in my opinion but that is how they wrote it. These are all great scenes. Thanks for posting this story.

It's great to see how clips like this one or Robert finding Robin Soltini in his living room really came to be and fit in if you weren't watching GH at the time. Love Robin & the Ancient One.
