In 1795 Navy Lt. Nathan Forbes schemes with Trask and other fiends then betrays his friend Barnabas to win over a confused Millicent Collins, marry her... and then steal her wealth via Daniel Collins (David Henesy) Millicent's young trusting brother, who Forbes trys to have killed!!!

In the meanwhile Joshua Collins must face the tragedy of his un-dead son, and his blood lust he has wrought upon the towns people, and his family as the remorseful vampire struggles in vain for a way to end being the monster he has become thanks to Angelique!

Note: Video courtesy Of Dan Curtis Productions, with
the musical interludes, superb editing assistance by the much missed "GrvYrdTrn" formerly @ You tube.

  • What a hoot!! Seriously, this was great, very well put together, and I loved the music! (kept expecting Lillian Gish to come around a corner with her hand across her forehead, lol). Flashbacks were very effective. Especially LOVED the shadowy images of Barnabas around 8:18; Nosferatu immediately came to mind (deliberate or accidental, may I ask?). Thanks to you and GrvYrdTrn for a tour de force creation!! Well Done!!

  • Yeah, this has always been one of my favorite DS videos. The drama of the sweeping music rather adds a humorous tone to the actors speaking and looking as if they're on Shakespeare's stage.

  • It just does get any better than the Rachmaninoff piano concertos. Mozart was a hack, by comparison.

  • 1795 storyline was soo cool!!!!! Love the vid, music, editing use of clips KUDOS!!!!!

  • Or Mary Pickford !

  • Wonderful video, very well put together with great sequences and music!

  • It's hard for me to even remember this cause I haven't seen the 1795 part since they showed it on reruns when I was younger. So fascinating.
