@Ex925 Oh.. yes. I didn't realize earlier. :)
let me try to furnish her(?) more info on the guitar/sound then...
-
@nicolaigogol Unmistakeably, Ibrahim's sound. But she(?) is in love with the guitar, not with the player. Queer.

@Anarchyuk1 : Indeed... awesome lead guitars there.
not sure who this guitarist might have been, coz Tinariwen generally is an ensemble band of members that keep floating in and out of the line up.... some are deceased, some aren't touring any more and some are current. I am guessing this is by "Ibrahim Ag Alhabib".
what is the name of the guitar the lead singer plays? plez im in love

@Anarchyuk1 Ibrahim and other guitarists of the group use standard electric guitars, but not specifically the traditional rock guitars like Fender Stratocasters or Gibson's Les Pauls.
The magic of that sound is not in the guitar model, but the "amplifier" they're using. Ibrahim has been heard saying they prefer the VOX Amps.

@Anarchyuk1 To quote him directly - “I do like Vox. They’re solid and have a very honest rock sound, which is what I’m after for my music. It’s important for our music not to sound too sweet, and the Vox helps with that. The rhythm guitars were fed through a Vox [AC30] on Imidiwan to get that grungy, churning sound.”

Note that Ibrahim had made his own guitar when he was four or five years old. It was made with a plastic water container, a stick, some rope and bicycle brakewire. :)
