Late on June 30, California Senator Jenny Oropeza (D- Long Beach) gets emotional during the debate overal a bill that proposes some cuts to bridge California's balooning $24 billion deficit. The Dems rolled out a partial solution that Republicans rejected. The State Controller said he will have to issue IOUs as of July 1 unless the state gets its books in order.
