Midnight Oil's promo-video for the single 'Used & Abused', taken from the 1978 self-titled album (aka 'The Blue Meanie').

Note: This video was filmed in a studio at channel 7. At the time, Channel 7 had it's own record label titled '7 records'. Through this label, the Oils launched Powderwords records and consequently issued their first album.

  • i got a feeling that the Oils purposely played slower for the sake that they were on television... I'm very surprised how slow their performance was on that Flashez clip...

  • Delightful Deja-Vu! I was there. Have never Loved any other Band as much as The Oils! They never failed to deliver. Big memory is waiting to see what Pete's Rant of the night was going to be! Always went home wanting more!!!
