0:25 "setting, you can see ... there's flickering " but if I go back and switch to...." Dear Moshah, can you write what the two different settings are that you refer to in the video. . I know you know them but I have no idea what they are and would like you to write them becasue I can't understand the audio. . I shall then look them up on Wikipedia, to study the differences. Thanks and Thanks for posting. . Cheers. from, del-boy.
I have exact same model TV and a PS3, bought both in 2006. KDS-R60XBR2 worked flawlessely with no complaints until last month i noticed snow flaking or ghosting in the transition areas where colors change from light to dark, DRC was always on before, disabling DRC did seem to correct the issue, but I would like to fix problem, any ideas? parts? service? Bulb is new, monster power center, I am stumped...
I bought my XBR2-60 in March 2007, it has a build date of Feb. 2007, replaced bulb around a month ago. I just started getting this same issue you have a few days ago and it has consistently gotten worse to the point where it's constant now no matter the source. What I have found is that I have had to turn DRC off.
@RMW527 : This is not an LCD TV though. Not a flat panel, closer to DLP than anything else.
