Obligatory Knowledge

Questions? post them and we shall answer if we have the knowledge. Note that in Islam, speaking in the religion without knowledge is sinful. One cannot indulge in something until one knows if it's permissible or not to do. The Prophet peace be upon him said: "Seeking the knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim".

Knowledge is for everyone, young and old, men and women. Allah knows best.

  • There are some, who under the guise of being Sufis, spread falsehood and misguidance and dare to label it Sufism. On the other hand, there are groups, like the Wahhabis and those who follow them, who categorically deny Sufism and claim it is not even a part of the Religion.

  • The Personal Obligatory Knowledge of the Religion is the amount that one has to learn among the Knowledge of Belief, rules of purification (taharh), the prayer (salah), fasting, and judgments pertaining to dealings for the one who engages in transactions. Also among other issues one has to know about the sins of the heart, organs, tongue and the like. As well the one whom az-Zakah is obligatory has to know about the obvious judgments pertaining to Zakah and Pilgrimage (Hajj ) for whose able.

  • The prophet, salla-l-lahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said:

Which means: Seeking the Personal Obligatory Knowledge is incumbent upon every Muslim (narrated by al-Bayhaqiyy).

The accountable person (Mukallaf ) is the one who is pubescent, sane and has received the message of Islam.

  • I urge you to embrace the religion of Islam to be a true believer in God and in all Messengers of God, including Jesus and Muhammad being the last of the Prophets that God sent to people.

  • Mashallah, mashallah excellent video!!

  • Mashallah, mashallah excellent video!!!
