@Ceropegia Thank you!

Three questions ... The mull goes between the two kettle stitches, not over them, right? Lining paper, is this a particular type of paper? Finally, the white material (you called it fabric) that the blue headband is glued to ... is this that the same material as the lining paper?
Your videos are so wonderfully educational and I appreciate your doing them for us.

Hi Sage, Thank you for taking the effort to let us see how its done. There are many videos and sites out there who attempt to do the same thing, yours is by far the best and most comprehensive of them all. I concur with one of the comments in that it would be very helpful if the videos of each series would be numbered for easy reference. At the moment the one video which would explain what I am missing - trimming the book to shape cannot be found...
Thanks again!

Hi Sage
Superb video, thanks for posting this, I've been struggling with creating neat spines.
Best wishes
Billie :)
The measurements I give are guidelines, the mull should not go longer than the kettle stitches so that casing in will be neater, you don't want mull to build up thickness with the book cloth on the case, the mull also stays wetter and it is better to have case-endpaper contact than a mull sandwich. The lining paper is 100% rag Arches text laid. The blue material is paper backed binding cloth, Canapetta, Iris is a similar binding cloth, from TALAS.
