    Wow, I grew up listening tho Glen's music. One of the great tragedies of WW2 was losing Glen Miller. I have "The Glen Miller Story" around here on vhs, and this reminds me to get it out and watch it. June Alyson and Jimmy Stewart if memory serves me right. Thanks for the memory!

    In loving memory of my dearest, sweetest, and angel of grandmother. RIP <3 I miss you very much! *SOBS* she used to sing songs like this and we used to dance to Glenn Miller. My life won't be the same without her here. Hopefully she is watching over me in heaven. <3 <3 <3

    music isn't the same anymore, that's for sure. Even though i was born in the late 60s, & have always held glenn as the `standard' of the big band era, i do know that there are others, such as tommy & jimmy dorsey, the andrews sisters, the ink spots, guy lombardo, bing crosby & others. I had noticed an interview with jim morrison from the doors back in the 70s, that music would head towards the way of heavily electronic & using tapes, (but actually records for scratching rap junk) .
