Open carry San Diego 4th of July 2011

Leaving restaurant to stroll on boardwalk expecting to get echecked on 4th of July, pleasantly surprised by attitude and greeting by LE. Guess bumping into the beach lieutenant the day before, and mentioning there would be some UOC on the 4th, as a heads up helped prepare officers to not overreact or trample our rights. LE can learn, they just need some a little help.

If they echeck, whatever that is, me in Louisiana you will find out that my sidearm is loaded with one in the chamber. When you need your weapon you be getting shot at and trying to load it. @neodeville once again, you speak about something you have no experience firsthand, In Kalifornia average citizens can not get a CCW. And Kalifornia just passed a law banning open carry. While you may think this is about putting on a show, I assure you it is not. The State government here is out to get us, mandatory handgun and rifle registration, a ban on ammunition in the courts right now. Wake up neodeville!!!!

@neodeville It's really not that hard to ready your firearm though, just load the magazine and chamber the first round. I personally would feel safer without one in the chamber.
