I am surprized Nabi called him abu jehl. Mr Deedat is saying he was not.

And give glad tidings to those who believe and do righteous good deeds, that for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). Every time they will be provided with a fruit therefrom, they will say: "This is what we were provided with before," and they will be given things in resemblance (i.e. in the same form but different in taste) and they shall have therein Azwajun Mutahharatun (purified mates or wives), (having no menses, stools, urine, etc.) and they will abide therein forever.

Mashallah, I don't know who these people were that were criticising him, who are they? where are they now? has their message of Islam reached more people than Deedat's?
More than 10 years on, we know Deedat's name but don't know who they are. And Deedat is the one who inspired the brilliant Zakir Naik.
Allah have mercy on his soul.

3 months after this lecture he suffered a stroke, sounds like the people who Deedat was refering to in this lecture, caused his stroke...

I understand what you mean. When someone is good, there is nothing wrong with admiting it or praise the person's quality. BUT, ONLY Allah is ALL great, ALL perfect and ALL 99 attributes we know are all HIS.

But of course, he was goon in fields that he was talking about,. and as he said:"if you want to be better muslim go to your imam :)"
I mean, i don't want to idolize him, but he was great man.

i don't know how to describe you but when i see Deedat i wish i can hug him :D...
i don't know in what field he is better, in argumenting with others or in criticing muslims...

What do they have to tell him about Hikma. Masha Allah, may Allah reward Sheikh Ahmed Deedat for his GREAT job. May Allah be pleased with him.
