This is a short 3D animation I did at VFS in 2004, using Softimage XSI, and varios Adobe softwares.
Sinking Margot was screened at the Nicktoons Animation Festival 2006, and won the Viewer's Choice award. Thanks to everyone who voted for me!

  • Hej är du svensk? Hade tänkt börja med 3d-modellering.

Tog det lång tid att göra den film?

  • Sorry I only speak English.

  • Oh, Sorry.

Well, I will start with some 3d-modeling and I wonder how hard and for how long time did you work with this video/3d work? :)

  • Thanks :)

Well, this was the very first thing I ever really produced in 3D, and I did it about 4 years ago while still in school. The whole thing (pre-production, modeling, texturing, animating, rendering and compositing) took me 6 months to complete. At the time it was hard because I was still a beginner, but if you have some modeling experience something like this should be quite easy to do.

  • gorgeous animation. i rate you awesome.

  • thanks a lot :)
