  • What an era for country-rock pedal steel players! The early 70's had Sneaky Pete Kleinow, Rusty Young and let's not forget the incomprable Jeff "Skunk" Baxter's work with Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers. His pedal steel solo on "South City Midnight Lady" is still one of the most beautiful moments in all of 70's music.
