Robert Altman's enigmatic 3 WOMEN --inspired by one of his dreams -- consistently makes my personal list of "top ten favorites" as the years pass. It's the journey that fascinates me, not the destination. In fact, at movie's conclusion you are probably wondering just where you have landed, given the movie's many unanswered questions. Some of my friends are so baffled by it they dismiss it completely. But in spite of its flaws, I never tire of revisiting the dream world of Millie and Pinky. To me, this is Shelley Duvall's best work.
It was only after many viewings that I began to see that the sequence in the women's locker room (shown in this clip) was meticulously staged to echo the movie's theme of duality. The repeated appearance of couples, the juxtaposition of mirrors and reflections, and the convergence of Millie's and Pinky's image now and then are subtle but brilliant foreshadowings of events to come.
Haha gotta love sissy's looks and humor

Shelly Duvall looks a lot younger her then in the Shinning. I know its 3 years earlier but still that is a big difference.

This is great! I thought I'd never find this again. It gets inside the arcane place in everyone's mind. And Sissy is so hot!
