This was very entertaining... great TV from my childhood. I always remember Hollywood Palace as hosted by Jimmy Durante. Thanks for posting... what a hoot!

@CADILLACMAC98 ... Wow, was it really four packs? I know virtually nothing about his personal life, but, well, if he did smoke four packs a day, that'll really do it to you. Of course, entertainment lovers around the world very much enjoyed his acting and other performances. It's a damned shame he was lured into that terrible habit, stealing him from us, his fans, at a much-too-young age.

No one, but NO ONE, complains about contemporary TV programming as much as I do. I've often characterized today's TV entertainment as a "shame," but with these Hollywood Palace videos you've released, I'll have to escalate what I've called "a shame" to "a damned crime of the highest caliber." I'm old enough to remember what decent TV programming was like, but your Hollywood Palace material makes my point with the greatest degree of certainty and clarity possible.
