As a frequent watcher of Comedy Central, I'm pretty sure they censor any shits or fucks on the Daily Show or Colbert Report. That's why I was surprised to not hear a bleep.

The FCC regulates stuff that goes over the public airwaves. Comedy Central is a cable network and does not go over the airwaves so it has more leeway.
