First make sure you have a free USB port on your PS3, I had to unplug my iPod charging cable first. Posisition your new USB cooling fan either behind the PS3 or near the top of it, depending on where you want to use it and plug it into the PS3, then fire it up! In a few seconds your new USB cooling fan should start working. I hope this helped and everyone enjoyed it!
There are also many other uses for your USB cooling fan besides cooling off your PS3. Ive seen people actually stick it underneath their laptops to cool them down and help with the air circulation. Just mess around with it and try it for different things! Dont forget to make a video response to this video or the first one showing everyone your USB cooling fan and what you use it for!

  • something that i just thought about computer fans are 12V and USB is only 5V so the fan wouldn't spin at its normal speed so it wouldn't really do much cooling...?

  • @iTzRyanCee Yeah, it doesn't do a whole lot really to be honest.

  • why my fan cant move when i lay it down

  • @factory2012 Probably because the wires are making a bad connection.

  • Wow what a stupid idea

  • would putting a ps3 slim on a verticle stand and put a normal fan next to it be bad in any way?

  • @pete17989 Check the power ratings of the fans. I'd wire them 2 per port at first, so they're spinning fairly quickly. Check for overheat!

  • good video...but the usb is sucking power from the ps3 to cool it off??? i guess its not sucking that much power..i decided to make a video showing how to make one of these with batteries if anyone is intrested...

  • @pete17989 there's not enough power from the usb, put you could use an AC adapter.

  • ok im a bit of a noob when it comes to this but will it work if i connect 4 120 mm fans or is there not enough power? also if its not enough power would it work if i plug the usb cable into a usb ac adaptor like the ones u use to charge ur ipod or other usb devices?

  • @iTzRyanCee you would need a alifiing circute
