Miller and Brent hang gliding at Miss Kelly Loop on Saturday, June 27, 2009. Miller foot launches his ATOS VQ and Brent platform tows his Wills Wing Eagle. They thermal together and soar a bit over the tow area. Miller stays up over an hour. He comes back down a bit and then gets back up on one tow. Brent is on his first tow in this video. It was a little windy with lots of dust devils forming in the fields. At the day goes, the clouds begin to form and a few pop up thunderstoms begin in town after they have landed.

Great video Brent! I must say that Eagle looks sharp dude. I have one as well, and all I can say about towing one without the fin,is YEEHAA! But they can slow down in a thermal so nice. Peace,thanks for the flight.

how high are you all getting of the tow?

@justinRkeaton The road in this video is called Kelly Loop and is only about 1 1/2 miles long and is used for more east or west wind days. They also use another road, which you can see in some of my other videos at Big Boy, is 2 1/4 miles long and is for north/south winds. The highest tow so far has been 3400 feet AGL. This is not the average and the tow height depends on the wind speed, thermal activity, and communication with the tow driver. Most of them are 2000+ at Big Boy Junction.
