Just a quick vid of my daphnia culture in a 2-1/2 gal tank. I squirt some dissolved yeast to feed them.

  • Hi. You can feed just enough to make the water cloudy without too much residue at the bottom of the tank. IMHO, for brine shrimp, the best food to raise them is phytoplankton. Check my page for culture information. Good Luck!

  • too long to explain here but you can check out the explanation on the live food culture section of my website. ventralfins(dot)com

I heard that you can feed yeast to the adult brine shrimp but I am wondering about how much yeast do you put into your water when you feed your daphnia??? I am also wondering...does yeast dissolve in the water?
