It was fun, except that I was exhausted , we are at 3500 meters and breathing start to be difficult

Araneus 1970 you are right about the chains! I was there back in 1965 (aged 15) after doing Arète de Bertol and I spent the night on a table because the hut was much smaller then and it was filled with twice its capacity :). No sleep that night so we did the Clocher and then returned back to the valley.

3500 M ? It is only 3311 m if I remember correctly. There is a way to go up there without using these aluminium stairs. The chains are more fun !

Ah ah çe serait bien pratique si c'était équipé comme ça et si on pouvait ne serait ce que sortir le petit doigt "on the edge of the world" !! ;)
