9 year-old Christian LaMonica won the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend an entire day with the Stanley Cup in his hometown of River Edge, NJ.
Christian's winning entry in Discover's "Day with the Cup" contest featured the young goalie dedicating his youth hockey season to his mother, Sharon, who was undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
After hosting the Stanley Cup and it's curator, Phil Pritchard, at his home, Christian shared the trophy with his teammates at the local hockey rink, where Discover threw a celebration in honor of the LaMonicas and their extraordinary story.
Can't wait for the new hockey season to start!
