@dmitriyo Exhausts do need a tune. You're right that OEM cars run rich as it is, but the addition of TURBOBACK exhaust without a tune will cause it to run more rich. There has to be an advance in timing to compensate for the better airflow, hence the power gains.
It's also very possible that your CEL is exhaust related.

@splitsurferjeff for a turboed engine to get the most out of your cat delete exhaust you will need a tune, youre not pulling out the maximum potential of the upgraded part.....need me to use crayons and spell it out for you kid?

Check engine light + flames = running rich,
so no only are you paying WAY too much for an exhaust but you need a tune too....lame

Exhausts dont really need a tune - they just reveal the cars fueling strategy more than anything else all OEM Turbo cars run pig rich..
The CEL is not exhaust related.
