Wow I remember back in 83, this woman was robbed and beat up for a cabbage patch doll, one guy got killed over one

Ah, the 1980's. See, back then instead of selling them at an outrageous price on ebay, you used the local classified ad, and still sold them at an outrageous price. There were all kinds of fights, break in, etc for these stupid things. But hey, it was the mid-80's, and not long after this craze Teddy Ruxpin started another one, which was then followed by Nintendo, and by that point the 80's ended! LOL The 90's had its share of top toys too, Furby, Tickle me Elmo, Beanie Babies, all crazes.

When a nation has developed enough to sustain it's basic needs it usually enters a period of relative peace and prosperity,marked by interest in cultural and economic growth. Of course there's always going to be parts of the nation that...stagnates. Hopefully this remains as what it is now,fad's and crazes. A nation that indulges repeatedly in such activities tend to collapse. Rome was but one example. Hopefully the American Eagle and European Union can escape the fates if it's predecessors.
