  • Faith and Freedom...I wonder what their stance is on marriage equality. Organizations the contain the word "faith" followed by "freedom" tend go sparingly with the first part of their name but restrictions may apply for the second part.

  • @bigmagumba Really? Who has he freed? He caused some people, who really needed help to be left in dire situations.

Is freedom the ability to deny an others' liberty?

  • @tugger O.K.! I can't tell if you're being ironic or not, so I'll just jump in. I personally think that faith and reason are mutually exclusive. Try to tell that to a person of faith and you'll get an unreasonable response before you can finish the sentence. My mom goes to church and I don't. She thinks she wins arguments when she yells loudly and I decide that the only reasonable thing to do, is walk away. But, I don't think her loud approach has anything to do with church where everyone shh's.

  • @firstatheist For all your derision, I think you're still giving that snot-nosed little prick more credit than he deserves. Sorry, I'm really angry, because that malignant little douche bag did get more credit than he deserves. He wandered into a Black community, in Huggy Bear-esqe attire, looking like he didn't have two pubes to rub together and expected everybody to think that he was a pimp!

The people in the film didn't believe it, but anyone who wanted to sure did.

Can I have a "COME ON!"

  • O'keefe, you aren't fooling anyone when you refer to yourself as a "journalist." Your a right wing ideologue who trumps up shit on the editing table. I think the most charitable description of O'keefe is that he's a conservative activist, which is fine but be honest about it. BTW, all you ditto heads better start cutting him some checks, if you want to see another workshop in editing.

  • Johnny come lately.

Michael Moore did it better, did it bigger, was more original, and causes far more problems for the right than O'keefe could in his wildest black tar heroine induced dreams.

  • @scoob2007

Its an award from an interest group that shares his ideology. This isn't exactly a Pullitzer that he's getting, its one right-winger jerking off to another, and O'keefe getting the money shot.

  • So, how does a guy, who is a hell of a problem for the press, get an award for journalist excellence?

Just asking, with no expectation of a ridiculous reply.

But, I'll bet I get one!!

  • @charlesvan13 And where did these WMD's end up? They certainly weren't found in Iraq! I would prefer to trust facts rather than opinion, even my own. I believe that opinion can and should change as more facts are revealed. Trying to stubbornly warp reality to fit your deluded world view and force it on others is pointless, destructive and ridiculously egotistical.

  • @scoob2007

But that's not true about the wmd. The cia's official possition is that Iraq had many banned weapons, such as tons of poison gas. Look up the 2002 cia report on Iraq wmd.

Joseph Wilson also thought Iraq was in gross violation, just read his nytimes opinion pieces. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but not to your own facts.
