  • Your garden is looking great!! This weekend is our last frost date as well. Although we've been in a "heat wave" for the past week now.

  • @HomesteadAcres Makes all the difference doesn't it? we're in a mini heatwave at the moment too and the high temps are making all the plants go ballistic!

  • Do you make all of your music yourself?

  • @TeacherPhilEnglish Not all. I tend to use purchased RF music from my library for my own videos.

  • Great video Rick, I was comparing videos of this to prior, wow there has been such a change in the status of the plants.

  • @ScottRoseVideo Thanks Scott - indeed the differences are amazing when compared to 2 minths ago.

  • Rick very healthy and impressive garden. Cool update.

  • @rickvanman I did that and it didn't work for tomatoes. They need glass. They're impossible to grow under plastic. It filters various UV rays out. You also get blossom rot too, from the difference in temperature in night and day. They get condensation on the fruit at night and rot. I'll get a glass house some day soon tho.

  • @NewTet Here Here!

  • @garryentropy Cheers Garry - I think you are right, if it was blight, the others would be showing signs of it too but they are fine (fingers crossed).

Yep, been saving jars since the winter, and have a load of kilner jars and a vacuum sealer system lined up ready to store the dehydrated produce. Can't wait for the tomato chutney! I love that stuff :o)

  • @FlavorsofSpain Thanks - hope to update once a week.

  • @HelpsYouPoop you can make a greenhouse from a wood frame and a few sheets of polythene - will make all the difference to your food production.

  • @HelpsYouPoop I spotted a few bean pods today but nowhere near as many as there have been flowers - not sure if it's a pollination issie, or whether it's still too early inb the season?
