On April 27, Walmart CEO Mike Duke visited New York City to have breakfast with the Wall Street Journal and a roomful of corporate elites. Everyday New Yorkers weren't invited. But we have a lot of strong opinions about his plans to take over our city and flood it with poverty wage jobs. So we decided to throw him a little surprise party, brass band in tow!

I work at Walmart and I love it. I like not being part of a union. I don't see the need for it (just more money taken out of my paycheck). Walmart follows the rules. The only time I ever get over time is Black Friday. But that is only if we ask for it and if we aren't ok with it, they'll change it! I really think you take one story you heard a blow it out of proportions. Plus, you are just rude

After the Tuesday, 9 August 2011 recall election results, the Republicans, Tea Parties, and all financial sponsors including Rob Walton of Walmart Stores, are inspired along with Fox News to slowly and effectively dismantle the unions that somehow lost their zest even though they helped working Americans over 100 years ago.
