Atlas Sound- My Sharona (Excerpt 1)

(This was one of the best live experiences I've ever had, by the way)
A drunk heckler jokingly shouted "MY SHARONA!" at the Cedar Cultural Center. Bradford responded, "You want to do this motherfucker?" and proceeded to go on an awesome nearly hour-long epic jam/cover of it .

He began by himself and was later joined on stage by members of the Carnivores and Frankie Broyles. This is just a short slice of it, probably 2 or 3 minutes after it started.

If I was at this show, I would probably have started booing and yelling after 10 minutes. Everyone can dick around, but there is a fucking limit.

i went to his show in chicago the night after this. he commented about how the crowd was displeased by the 50 minute cover, but that honestly, after he plays a full 55-minute set of all the songs the crowd expects to hear, he should be entitled to have a little fun with music and go off on a tangent if he so feels like it. i love him! his shows are so great, i love being surprised by his experimentation on stage.
