This was written and made as a comedy - kind of a goofy action flick. But they wanted a *serious* movie about robot hookers from outer space, so they tried to cut out all of the jokes and gags. Problem is - you can not have a serious movie about robot hookers from outer space - it's a silly idea. Script was a parody of... EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (not BLADE RUNNER). Check out the back of the video box synopsis the producer came up with "dangerous androids" to describe the walking boob jobs!

Wait a second... that mook (the one that got shot and killed by the 0:35 mark) looks almost identical to Commander Shepard from the Mass Effect video game series! HOLY COW!

Yes, it was B-grade movie but I really love it. I like the storyline and visual effects (undrerwater scenes) weren't that bad. Marc Singer and Rochelle Swanson great.
I miss the 90's

1:25 Because who needs anti aircraft guns when you can just use a magnum revolver? And that explosion is awfull!
-
Did Marc Singer insert a bit of self-parody when he stared at the chopper explosion? A "how the hell did that happen?" stare? Or was he just thinking, "How the hell did I sink to this?"

1:46- HELLOOOOOO, Nurse! I'm convinced, this is a good movie.

I have to admit, the band-aid line was pretty cool.
