It's just my own theory based on what I've read, but I'm pretty sure that the land mass where the Mediterranean Sea is was part of Atlantis and was sunk because of the crystal pyramids built on them. At the very least, the area of the Bermuda Triangle is probably where most of the pyramids were, which explains the magnetic anomalies there.
