Being exposed to rays of radiation is completely different to inhaling, ingesting radioactive particles. You CANNOT measure radiation that you inhale with a Geiger counter. You need to used an air monitor that draws air into a filter. After a set time (usually 24 hours) the filter is removed and taken to a LAB for analysis. I hardly think we can do this at home!
