  • how did u get 1.8?

  • @hiphopmogul92 1.8 is the difference between a Celsius degree and a Fahrenheit degree. In other words it takes a 1.8 degree change on the Fahrenheit scale to equal a 1 degree change on the Celsius scale. This makes sense when you think of of the freezing and melting points of water. In Celsius water freezes at 0 and boils at 100 a total range of 100 degrees. In Fahrenheit water freezes at 32 and boils at 212 a total range of 180 degrees. (1.8 times as many degrees)

  • OK HELP

using 32 is confusing. is the 1st 32 from the 32 celsius, or do you use 32 no matter what....

I'm needing to convert 175 degree celsius INTO Fahrenheit

  • The first is degrees celsius. You would need to plug your 175 in the spot where it is multiplied by 1.8 and then add 32.
