A lesson in misdirection. Before the trick started the guy who shakes my hand said I probably wouldn't fool him because his brother did magic. : )

There is only one reason you would want me to do that. I really don't want people copying my routine. This routine was created to fit me. Everyone needs to create routines to fit there own style.

The best advice I ever heard about handling hecklers is from UK magician James Brown. If someone says 'I saw that!" or "I know how that works." or "You're using a string." or whatever. Just look them right in the eyes and say ..."I don't care if you know how it works". Once they see that they don't bother you, they no longer have any power. I have diffused many hecklers by simply saying "I don't care."

She wasnt that type of person. She was enjoying the performance. But if she had turned it over I would of just said Yes thats not your card It's over here!
