Dr Soong Moon Kang from UCL Management Science and Innovation worked with colleagues in UCL CASA to analyse traffic movement in London extracted from the smart Oyster travelcard network. They found that London has many 'polycentres' - a network arrangement that has implications for how public transport is designed and used.
