As beautiful as the pics are, they don't do it justice. We just got back from there tonight and it is amazing! The Hoh Nat Rain Forest is awesome and you MUST hike the VERY short hike of the "Hall of Mosses"! And for God Sake bring a camera and video camera! Take lots of pictures. Though after seeing it in real life, it's hard to look at the pictures. =)

Beautiful pictures. I did the same coastal hike along Third Beach. I hope to return to the area soon and hike through Hoh. Your pictures are GORGEOUS.

Olympic NP would be my 2nd favorite stomping grounds. North redwoods is my 1st. But hoping to spare most of one years out of state hikes down the line, for just Olympic NP. Probably 2014.

We got to see 11 black bears at a safe distance. The closest one was on the other side of the pond on the 1st night.

Went there in May one year and couldn't get to the upper elevations due to snow. Good luck and have fun.
