Obama is the Jackie Robinson of Politic. The first African American credible smart, educated President., just like Jackie Robinson who takes with his base bat. Jackie suffered dearly as the "first". I don't have to tell you the story. Obama is facing the same. You have the GOP and the Tea Party, that are just not comfortable with a President of the United States who is black., just like Baseball wasn't comfortable with the "First" black baseball player in the Major League. Time will tell.

Good luck to the democrats come November! From what I've seen of the Republican platform they are still intensely divided and incoherent. I can't see them forming the leadership Americans still need to climb out of the economic hole.. regardless, all the best from Canada.
