I am going to deal today with three subjects: 1. Condie Rices contract with Random House to publish her memoirs, 2. Richard Shelbys Obamas Birth Certificate remark, and 3. my new discovery: selective intelligence. --- Life comes at you fast. No sooner is Condie Rice out of office when she has a contract to write two versions of her memoirs. You heard that right TWO versions. I can imagine why. When she was still in office, she visited Germany and met with Angela Merkel, Germanys Chancellor. During that visit she apologized to Merkel about the screw up in connection with the torture trip of German national el-Masri, who had been confused with AL-Masri, a wanted terrorist, while on vacation in Macedonia. No sooner had Merkel made the apology public, when Rice made a U-turn and claimed she had never said that. Oh well. But you understand now why she needs two versions of her memoirs.
--- On a different subject, the Cullman Times, an Alabama News Paper, reported that during a town hall meeting a local resident asked Senator Richard Shelby whether there was some truth to the rumor that Obama was not born in the United States Senator Shelby answered: Well, his father was a Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I havent seen his birth certificate. Richard Shelby must have been present at the Smith Dinner, when Barrack Obama admitted that he was born on Krypton and sent here to save the planet. Well, Mr. Shelby, he was joking. I not only have a copy of Obamas Birth Certificate in my possession, but you are welcome to look at it. How do you like them marbles? Oh, of course, in version #2 of his memoirs, Shelby denies he ever said that. Except that the Cullman Times reporter apparently has a recording of Shelbys statement. --- We recently published evidence of a curious pattern match between a pattern of payments made by parties to litigation to Shelby and cases pending in Alabama. The pattern match strongly suggests nexus. The thought crossed my mind that Eric Holder would investigate but then I realized that Mr. Holder works in the Department of Justice that resembles the Cocoon Nebula in a Galaxy far, far away, among some 80 stars, here represented by district attorneys all of which meet and conform with Bush-set criteria they were selected because they where Republicans. To even dream that they would investigate massive bribery schemes involving corporate mobsters who pay elected officials of both sides of the isle to interfere in pending litigation would be downright I am lacking words. --- Now lets go to something much more exciting. You may remember that I was teaching economy and doing Intelligence Research at the Frankfurt Germany Institut fuer Planungstechnik, a privately funded think tank shortly before the Mayflower, where I showed in the late sixties that the human intelligence is not a fixed measure, but rather a variable that can be expanded significantly within a short period of time. I was able to increase the IQ of test subjects within 90 days from about 102 to 145 and beyond by exposing them to managed information overload conditions. It took scientists over 30 years to finally accept the idea and not all did some are still firm in their believe that hereditary factors are controlling which is nonsense. --- Last night I was thinking about the likes of Shelby and whatshername Bachman by the way one of the few women who could drive me up Brobeck Mountain and I stumbled over a thought that I suggest should be investigated: selective intelligence. Let me say this again, because my fellow researchers may not get it it has never been dealt with before: SELECTIVE INTELLIGENCE. --- Selective Intelligence is a state of mind where intelligence is consciously restricted when dealing with facts that are either inconvenient, embarrassing, or otherwise detrimental to a preconceived notion set.
Like somebody being apparently unable to deal with the fact that the livelihood of millions and millions of people is at stake if we fail to implement dramatic remedial actions immediately. Maybe behavioral science has an explanation why elected officials suddenly and apparently consciously fail to remember that they were elected to serve the people.
But then, the problem can be seen the other way around: why do people of average intelligence re-elect those who fail them over and again. Think about it, you will encounter selective intelligence virtually every day in your live.
