I think Hope Solo was deeply hurt by what her friend said about her fathers death and her using it for sympathy. Her reaction to the interviewers question was a dead giveaway. I don't agree with her saying that Brandi Chastain does not know the game of soccer she may disagree with her or think she is a bad commentator but you cant say she doesn't know the game! Hope Solo is arguably the best goalie to ever play women's soccer and the sports most popular (and hated) I pop my collar to her !

I actually like her more after seeing this interview, she's cocky but she was right about her comments after the 07 world cup, her performance leading up to the game against Brazil didn't even come close to meriting a benching, I also like how she's not afraid to speak her mind and doesn't kiss the older generation's asses for their past success, we can respect what our elders did in the past but it doesn't mean we can't criticize them
