  • very small whell you must have 30cm

  • @TheDieAngler He wouldn't use the larger one I bought him. So it was this one or no wheel at all.

  • that looks too small for your hamster, his back was arching. their backs are suppose to be straight wen they run. I would suggest getting a bigger wheel

  • @happysaz133

8" is the recommended MINIMUM for a Syrian. It's not the recommended full stop.

  • @pepperminttea42 Well in the UK, it is the recommended. Or at least, it was when I first got it. I don't have syrians anymore.

  • @portonovo88 Well this wheel came with a Wodent Wheel sticker, so I am no entirely sure how it could be the RoboWheel?

  • @happysaz133 Im sorry but you have the RoboWheel (20cm diameter) with the round openings. That was made for dwarf hamsters such as roborovski's, djungarians and others, also little mice. The one you are TALKING (not showing) is the WhodentWheel junior, with a 27cm diameter, and totally okay for syrians. Then there's also the WhobusWheel with 30cm diameter for big syrians or rats or degus..etc. Im not sure if you know but in this video you have the smallest version, that is only for dwarfhamsters

  • I have this wheel for my new syrain, maybe I don't remember how syrians speeds are in a wheel anymore but it feels like they cant get a run out of them, but they are good wheels for the feet and such. Mine uses hers but does a walk I'd say more then a run, isn't to small for her either..

  • Also, I tried the larger wheel and he wouldn't run in it at all, he seems more comfortable in this one.

  • 8inches is recommended for Syrian hamsters. Plus, he doesn't use it anymore anyway, he's too old and isn't interested.
