Panesar was born in Luton. Funny that you should forget to mention that Andrew Symonds was born in Birmingham, especially in light of his performance in the 06/07 Ashes.
Geriant Jones, he played in the last ashes, wicketkeeper, hes acutally Papa New Guinean. If you were a true supporter you would have known that one. It was only a couple years ago since he last played. I am pretty sure it was against us when we white washed you guys with you international side.
no monty panesar is from england. don't know where you got your info from and who is G. Jones? i believe you mean simon jones. also, we're not playing with pietersan, jones and for the last two tests panesar and prior has played nearly his whole cricket life in england so he is technically an english player even if he wasn't born there and yet we are still managing to beat the aussies? strange eh? does simon jones really make that much of a difference that we are winning the ashes?
@aussiesforever Yeah! you are right. They also gave offer to our player Shahid Afridi after brilliant performance in T20 world cup

There's a reason why the governing body of English cricket is called the 'England and Wales Cricket Board'.

Should be playing for India.
England are that bed when they have to opt for international players.
eg:
K. Pietersan - S. African
M. Panesar - Indian.
G. Jones - Welsh - Figian.
M.Prior - S.African
Would love to see England to fill a side with their OWN countrymen.
Whenever you play england its like versing the rest of the world.
