I totally get it! I never knew about "double tonguing". I have a lot of sixteenth notes on my solo. (Actually they're eighth notes in two-two time.) Now I can play them flawlessly. Thank you so much!!! ;D

so when double tonguing you actually tongue t-t-t k-k-k t-k-t-k-t k-t-k-t-k while playing through your flute? or is it just ta tonguing all the way through?

I would like to get reacquainted with the flute after many years and have been watching your videos. Would a Haynes or an Armstrong be good to practice on? or take lessons with?

I have a brass method book that tells me to double tongue on flute by saying "tee-kee". Is this a legitimate way to tongue?

userlD20: yes, tee-kee is fine. watch my other articulation videos where I talk about using tee kee tuh kuh dee gee duh guh etc.
