He's a good speaker that's for sure. Only time will tell how well and how fast we recover from trickle down economics and fiscal irresponsibility of the 8 long fraud years. The Bush / Cheney regime spent more of the peoples money than all previous presidents combined. Conservatives are officially a thing of the past. All that's left of them is radicals and extremists. Now the power elite is going after the liberals. And progressives. Well anyone not on their corporate payroll basically.

@Xantheus07 Obama is trying to pass PAY AS YOU GO again & cut spending but the GOP wants to win an election not fix the country & that is where we sit.
There is no oversimplifying from where I sit. Simply saying we need to cut taxes is OVERSIMPLIFYING the solution to the very complex problems we face. Bush's tax cuts did not prevent a total econ meltdown but they did remove a trillion&half worth of rev & turned a surplus into massive debt.

I look at the facts and the facts say we have to raise taxes back to the level in 90's and cut spending...History shows the Dems under Clinton passed PAY AS YOU GO & the we had a surplus. Bush & the GOP ended pay as you go & cut taxes & increased spending! What people like you do is try to oversimplify things. Whats the point of tax cuts if Congress thinks that means they got a reason to increase spending? The problem is like most of Americans government does not know how to live within its means.

Don't be scared, jobs are all we want for you. Now that is funny. Obama claims he is going to create jobs. The majority of his constituancy wouldn't take a job to save their lives. Never had one never want one. They like having the working 52% of the country pay for their lazy asses.

What are conservatives racists about? We know for a fact that his Mother was white, and as in most cases, no idea who the Father was for sure. We may cry, absoloutly. we cry when some no account bum in suit declare's war on our income. Of course the Liberal voting tax guzzling non working portion of our Nation cheers for Obama. What the hell have they got to lose? Their free income, their free government programs od money to dope addicts, free meals, free groceries thru food stamps.

Realize that only 52% of the people in this country pay income tax. The other 48% consume taxes. So you are wrong when you say that tax cuts only help the wealthy. In reality what you mean is the tax cuts hurt the unmotivated, excuse givers that refuse to do what it takes to get and keep a job. Obama is trying to shift the greater portion of our taxes to placate those complainers. Old English proverb "those that work eat' very simple

The thing President Bush did wrong concerning Katrina, responded too soon. We would have been further ahead had he let the animals destroy their own zoo. We could have gone in later and cleaned up the mess. Instead we have to go in there and feed the animals, put them back in their cages. Sadly many of them escaped to cities like Houston. Now Houston is having to feed and house the animals and the cost is ready to bankrupt the city.

That is what i call an intelligent response. Just about what I would expect. If you notice, the errors in mt writting are typo's rather than spelling. Having a hard time understanding the concept of working for a living? Does the idea of not being able to blame me for your lack of success scare you. Relax, Obama is here. He will try and take my check and give it to your poor mistreated soul. Then, maybe, you will quit blaming me.
