  • I stayed at the Riu Playacar this past Spring Break (March 2011), and the beach was pretty nice. What happened? who fixed it?

  • @41cesar in tabasco, mexico in some beaches the ocean has taken mor than 200 meters of land since 5 yeras ago, it is something real it is happening in all mexican beaches i live in one so i see it

  • if that ruined somebodies holiday their idiots, it's a beach a natural thing.

  • Well you have a long tongue bu apparently no common sense... after 2003 how many hurricanes hit Mexico's coast?? do the math... I'm glad they even have a bit of terrain where to put the beach chairs. Nature it's just like that... there's nothing that can be done when the beach is like that.. it's a process... leave it alone... it'll go back to being a beautiful beach some time soon.. too bad it catch up with your visit... dont go in hurricane season.. FYI starts in JUNE and ends in NOVEMBER.

  • Post them as a vid response here if you want. Can't wait to see them!

  • Thank you very much for your feedback, Xcaret sounds like a good deal!! I ll definitely try to experience as much as I can. For me and my girlfriend for 6 nights (all inclusive) plus airfare cost around 1700$, that was the cheapest I could get. I ll be posting some clips when I get back!!!!!

  • You know, we met a couple who came from NY to Toronto to depart because of costs. So we're just wondering. This is the price we found for the Palladium Kenatah for Aug 1 5-10 days leaving from Toronto: $948.00 + 327.00 txs. For 10-14 days it was $1478.00 + 327.00 txs. How do these prices compare with yours, if you don't mind sharing the information.

  • The Xcaret all-inclusive was fantastic - underground river floating, swim with dolphins, manatee, aquarium and on. . unbelievable! Evening show was incredible.

However, you'll be amazed with the resort! You may not even want to leave it. There's tons to do. You're going to have so much fun!

  • Nice! Palladium used to have an inexpensive Turtle Snorkeling trip right from their beach. It was amazing and we swam with the turtles. Don't know if the turtles are still there feeding right now. And, the trip was selling it for $50 but when it didn't fill, it dropped to $25. Use your water socks or flippers for snorkeling - or you have to be careful about the sea urchins.

  • Yeah I am going the beginning of August and stay for 5 nights. I ll keep you posted :) I am sure it ll be beautiful down there judging form your videos. I also booked an Alltournative adventure (Mayan Encounter). I think it ll be very interesting getting a taste to the mexican jungle. Given your expertise on travel, any suggestions on what to do, would be greatly apreciated.
