NEVER take the weight guard off before doing calf presses. NEVER DO THAT! One slip up on that weight or the shoes could come off and that 1000 lbs comes crashing down on your chest and midsection and that could be fatal! Leave it guarded the weight isn't going much distance doing calf work!

Tuan, I love your videos, your training is well thought out. But why would you take the safety off when doing calves with over 1000 pounds?
I wonder what Tuan thinks about leg press-calves versus sitting calves. Soleus/Gastro.
Isn't it better to train em both?

I do every calf movement possible to make them grow. if it causes them to hurt and pump, I will do it
