I want immigration levels as they were in the 80's. I have a preference. I am about preservation of cultures, all cultures. White, black, Oriental Indian, Indian, Asian, and my own....Irish.

My preference would be western Europeans and Irish descendants from our 2nd founding countries US, UK etc....on a certain level.

2 then only a small amount of East Europeans

3 then an 80's levels amount of true genuine refugees from the 3rd world.

I have mentioned Eastern Europeans in the past. However there is a mssive difference. One in the type and 2 in the nature of the immigration.

1 At least east europeans have more in common with us genetically and culturally, Irish genes are from Europe and you will find similarities with ours and theirs up to a point. Obviously from a preservation of ancestral and cultural heritage-this is important.

2 They are more likely to earn money to save up and then go home

We have 5,000 homeless. We have people trying to decide whether to eat cornflakes everyday of the week or pay their esb bill, you have no clue the suffering that is going on out there, and why should you, you are a cosseted little student boy, whose mumsy and dadsy look after him and are paying for his cosy little roof over his head, while telling real Irish people who are starving and having their kids go hungry, to stop being racist.

Luas drivers, bus drivers, security staff, barbars, dhl delivery drivers, post office workers, bank staff...all shit jobs. Lol. They own their own warehouses for food imports, they own their own restaurants, they own their own internet shops- all shit jobs. lol

the Irish work shit jobs too buddy. The foreigners are in all types of jobs, Irish could not get construction jobs you know. Every job taken by one of these is a job gone from an Irish person.

Yo've worked with foreigners, what a surprise, in a country that is full of them, now how about going to their countries not with other Europeans, not on a supervised bus tour, but travelling the untrodden path, dealing with them yourself IN THEIR COUNTRIES. I will tell you, because contrary to the propaganda Irish people have always worked these jobs, and no job where you make an honest living supporting yourself and your family is shit, it is honourable.

You are ignorant. They come as asylum seekers ILLEGALLY. Then they are given allowance to stay here and then get jobs, yes, sure they get jobs. And how in blazes is that contributing? How in God's name did the Irish ever cope without foreigners coming here? Tell me, how did Ireland cope doing jobs on shop floors and other 'shit jobs' (jesus what a snob) in the 80's and 90's?
