As author of texture plug-in, that was used to create this video, I can confirm, that plug-in is apable of real-time chroma keying. Look at thread on blender artists or docs on my web site.

Dude that is f'ing amazing! I had no idea blender can do that. And its free. I think god wasnt really pleased with humanity so he created something better. Much better. He created Blender3d :P

Yeah it's all in the Blender Game Engine. Real-time OpenGL.
