I started with doing a fanvid for Jeremy Brett and Sherlock Holmes, featuring especially the episode "Devil's Foot".
I considered, reconsidered, changed, amended several things... and now it turns out to be the probably most personal thing I have ever published so far.
It is about my inner journey, about hope and encouragement.
You might find out I have taken quite a few liberties with the chronology of clips, thus maybe even altering the context.
The crime of the "foot" moved more and more into the background, leaving space for the story which is, to me, the REALLY interesting one in this episode: The recovering of Holmes, physically... and especially mentally.
Always of importance, when it comes to Holmes: The good Doc John Watson - and the very special and close relation of those two friends.
This way, my video (among other things) is also supposed to be a celebration of (their) friendship.
The video making brought me to thinking about my own recovering... and about those of you, who might still be struggeling to recover.
DO NOT GIVE UP!
Please, feel free to share your thoughts with me.
Wishing you all the best!

P.S.:
Very special thanks to lafemdilletante for her technical support.
I do not own any rights regarding footage (that's of course Granada) or music (Elton John). It is for promotional and strictly non commercial purposes only, and I intend no copyright infringement whatsoever.
My recommendation: Go and buy the DVDs and CDs! :-))
You made me cry.

@pipilo1717 Ummm... in this particular case, is that a good or a bad thing...?

Thank you very much for this touching tribute. Faith, hope and inner peace are very important things in life, and with the help of friends everything seems easier. If only all of us would have a friend like the caring dr. Watson...
